The Rapid Transit Company or RTC was a pre-cursor to the Philadelphia Rapid Transit company or PRT, which was then a pre-cursor to SEPTA. In 1910, the PRT went on strike, and this article talks about how much that lost productivity has cost in dollars for the compant.
