Abolaji Amosu, born in Lagos, Nigeria in 2000, came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at age 6 in 2006. In this interview, Amosu discusses her childhood in Nigeria, her family’s immigration into the U.S., and life growing up in the U.S. In addition to this, she mentions how her homeland’s culture affected her life, media and educational preferences, and social relationships. Finally, she shares her opinion on the interview, explains how she found the oral history project, and provides advice for fellow immigrants coming to the U.S.
